Unlike CPC, where you pay only for clicks (not impressions), CPV charges your account for every view. Every pop is a visit to your landing page, and what you bid is what you will pay when your ad pops.

Your CPV bids are capped at $.5 by default to keep you from accidentally overbidding, but you can lift this cap one of three ways:

  1. To set a default bid higher than $.5 for your entire campaign, enter your default bid into your Campaign Settings and opt into the bid cap removal.

  2. To set bids higher than $.5 for a group of targets, select the targets on your campaign's Targets tab, then click "Change CPV Bid" from the Edit dropdown above your data table. After entering the new bid, opt into the bid cap removal.

  3. To set a bid higher than $.5 for a single target, click the target's bid on your campaign's Targets tab to render the field editable. After entering the new bid, opt into the bid cap removal.
