The Audience Filters feature contains Blacklists, which you can add to prevent your campaign(s) from receiving certain types of traffic. To block Pops impressions from specific IP addresses, you can add Campaign Blacklisted IPs or Global Blacklisted IPs.

TIP: If you'd like to exclude traffic from specific device types, operating systems, browsers, connection types, and carriers, you can do so on Pops with Platform & Device Targets.

Campaign Blacklisted IPs vs. Global Blacklisted IPs

Campaign Blacklisted IPs apply to a single campaign. When you add a Campaign Blacklisted IP to a campaign, the campaign's creative(s) will not be eligible for impressions from that IP address.

How can I add Campaign Blacklisted IPs and Global Blacklisted IPs?

Blacklisting IPs from an individual Pops campaign

Follow these steps to add Campaign Blacklisted IPs, which block traffic from specific IP addresses for a single Pops campaign:

  1. Log into your RTX Platform account.

  2. Click Pops at the top of the page to navigate to the Pops Overview page.

  3. From the left sidebar, click the campaign where you want to add a Campaign Blacklisted IP. You can also click the campaign from the All Campaigns dashboard, or from your Overview page if it's listed as a Top Campaign.

  4. Click the Audience Filters tab next to the Channel Optimization tab, then click Continue in the section that details Campaign Blacklisted IPs.

  5. Enter each IP address you'd like to exclude from your campaign (one IP per line). TIP: Append the {ip} macro to your creative URLs to track IP performance, then enter the low-performing IPs here to exclude their traffic from your campaign.

  6. When you're finished, click Add Campaign Blacklisted IPs to apply the Blacklisted IPs to your campaign.

  3. Click Audience Filters below the main navigation bar at the top of any Pops page, then click Global Blacklisted IPs.ย

  4. Enter each IP address you'd like to exclude from all of your Pops campaigns (one IP per line). TIP: Append the {ip} macro to your creative URLs to track IP performance, then enter the IPs with low conversion rates across all of your Pops campaigns to exclude their traffic.

  5. When you're finished, click the Add Global Blacklisted IPs button to apply the Blacklisted IPs to all of your Pops campaigns.

NOTE: The Blacklisted IPs Global and Campaign Audience Filters were previously called IP Exclusions.
