1. Setup RTX Platform as a Traffic Source (step #1 in Prosper202)

  • Type in a name for RTX Platform and click Add. For this example, let’s just name the Traffic Source "Platform Name"

2. Setup an account for RTX Platform

The pixel for each RTX Platform conversion type is unique. So, you will need to set up a unique RTX Platform account in Prosper202 for unique conversion types (form submit, lead, purchase, sign-up, pageview, and other).

  • In this example, we would select "Platform Name" as the Traffic Source.

  • We made the username "Type of campaign" for this example.

  • For pixel type, select Postback (server to server pixel).

  • Next, you will need to copy your server to server pixel from RTX Platform. To do this, you will need to create a pixel event and assign it to your campaign in RTX Platform. Follow steps 1-5 in this article to create and assign your pixel event. After you complete step 5 from the article, a modal will appear in RTX Platform. Select Server to Server from the modal. Highlight and copy the URL that's in the box.

OPTIONAL: You can set a default conversion value in your Campaign Settings that will track the same payout for each conversion, however, you can override this conversion amount by appending &r= followed by the conversion amount to the end of your server to server code. Some affiliate companies provide a macro you can use to dynamically populate unique conversion amounts per conversion, which you can append along with the &r= instead of a static amount. Using a macro is useful when conversion amounts vary.

  • IMPORTANT: Now, go back to Prosper202. Paste your RTX Platform server to server pixel in the box that says "Pixel Code". Lastly for this step, at the end of the postback URL, delete <click_id> and replace with Prosper202’s [[c1]]

  • Finally for this step, click Add.

TIP: Prosper202 recommends using c1, so always use that for consistency.

3. Setup your campaign category in Prosper202 (step #2 in Prosper202)

  • Type in a name for your category, then click Add. For this example, we named the category "Test Category"

4. Setup your campaign in Prosper202 (step #3 in Prosper202)

  • Name your campaign (for this example, we just named the campaign "Test Campaign") and fill in all required information or information you would like to input. Be sure to select the correct category name.

  • Click Add.

5. The next few steps (step #4, #5, #6, and #7) in the Prosper202 flow are optional.

  • If you need to complete them, please do so.

6. The tracking link step (step # 8 in Prosper202) is required and will generate the creative URL that you will use in RTX Platform.

  • Fill in all required information, including selecting the RTX Platform traffic source you created in the first step and the RTX Platform account relevant to this offer that you set up in the second step of this support article. You will also need to select the correct category that you set up in step 3 and campaign name that you set up in step 4 of this support article. You can input our {target}, {bid}, and {domain} macros here as well.

  • IMPORTANT: Because we replaced <click_id> with Prosper202’s [[c1]] in step #1, it is necessary that you input our {click_id} macro in the box next to "Tracking ID c1:" When a user lands on your offer URL, {click_id} will automatically update to a unique click ID value.

  • Click Generate Tracking Link

  • Your tracking link will appear in a grey box near the bottom of the page. Copy the tracking link, and add it as a creative URL in the relevant RTX Platform campaign on RTX Platform.

7. The final step (step #9 in Prosper202) is to create a Global Post Back URL and place it with your affiliate network.

  • Fill in all necessary information including the correct category and campaign selection. Some information, such how you should setup subid, will come from your affiliate network.

  • After everything is filled in correctly, scroll down to the section titled "Global Post Back URL"

  • Copy the URL in the grey box and place it with your affiliate network. If you have an affiliate manager, they should be able to help you place it or place it for you!

These steps must be completed for each unique RTX Platform campaign.
