About specific URL targeting.
Hey I'm trying to target specific URLs with longer tail keywords for a specific audience even if the volume is much lower. Those are the folks im trying to chase with my creatives.
When I try to put those long-tailed URLs in my campaigns, none of them show up, I get this message: "Target(s) created, some failed" and only the website URL works like "Google.com" but I want to target those specific long-tailed URLs like "dogs.com/breed/labrador/". How do I get them in my campaign?
Thanks

Hi Timothy,
It sounds like you're trying to add those long-tail URLs as domain targets, when you should be adding them as keyword targets.
Domain targets can only be root domains (example.com, example.net, etc.), subdomains (page.example.com, www.example.com, etc.), or TLDs (.com, .edu, etc.), so adding a URL like "dogs.com/breed/labrador/" as a domain target would fail, while "google.com" would be successfully added.
Keyword targets can be full URLs, partial URLs, or words and phrases. This article has more information about how domain and keyword targets uniquely match the sites that serve your Pops ad.
Hope that helps!
