Recently a new enhancement was made to CPV field in the campaigns. Earlier, we could see the highest competing bid and based on that bid we could select our own bid. But now, the competitor's bid is not seen anymore.
As per this enhancement, I have to either select each and every keyword CPV and check the 'suggested' revised bid and increase my bid accordingly. OR I have to select all keywords and increase the bids as 'suggested' by the platform.
What this means is that:
1. If I have to keep my bids at intermediate levels I have to check EACH AND EVERY keyword CPV individually and then change it. It is NOT possible to make bulk adjustments to keywords at intermediate levels.
2. If I have 50-60 campaigns with 500 keywords each then I have to spend so many hours to adjust bids of each and every keyword
3. If I have to save time I have to select all keywords for each campaign and then increase all to the highest suggested bid. This means too much increase in costs without equivalent increase in Revenues.
This, I must say, is the most frustrating enhancements that I have seen. It only results in more spending of money and time without any returns coming out of it.
I strongly recommend you to revert back to the previous version.
