Sub-ID Whitelisting is an Audience Filter that restricts your Pops impressions to specific traffic sources called sub-IDs. If you ONLY want your Pops campaign(s) to be eligible for impressions from specific traffic sources, you can whitelist the sub-IDs associated with those sources of traffic.

There are two ways to whitelist sub-IDs:

Global Whitelisted Sub-IDs apply to ALL of your Pops campaigns. When you add Global Whitelisted Sub-IDs, all of your Pops campaigns will be restricted to impressions from the sub-IDs you've whitelisted.

Campaign Whitelisted Sub-IDs apply to individual Pops campaigns. When you add Campaign Whitelisted Sub-IDs, your campaign will be restricted to impressions from the sub-IDs you've whitelisted.

How can I track performance for the sub-IDs serving my ad?

Install a conversion pixel to track conversion rates and profit for each sub-ID in RTX Platform's comprehensive reporting suite, or append the {subid} macro to your creative URLs to pass sub-ID data to your tracking platform.

NOTE: Sub-ID identifiers are unique to RTX Platform. To ensure you're excluding the correct sub-IDs, only add Blacklisted Sub-IDs for sub-IDs that were tracked with RTX Platform reporting, or passed to your tracking platform via our {subid} macro. Blacklisting sub-IDs that were tracked from another ad platform's macro will not block the proper traffic.

How can I add Whitelisted Sub-IDs?

Whitelisting sub-IDs to an individual Pops campaign

Follow these steps to add Campaign Whitelisted Sub-IDs, which restrict an individual campaign's traffic to the sub-IDs you whitelist:

  1. Log into your RTX Platform account.

  2. Click Pops at the top of the page to navigate to the Pops Overview page.

  3. From the left sidebar, click the campaign where you want to add a Campaign Whitelisted Sub-ID. You can also click the campaign from the All Campaigns dashboard, or from your Overview page if it's listed as a Top Campaign.

  4. Click the Audience Filters tab next to the Channel Optimization tab, then click Continue in the section that details Campaign Whitelisted Sub-IDs.

  5. Enter each sub-ID you'd like to whitelist (one sub-ID per line).

  6. When you're finished, click Add Campaign Whitelisted Sub-IDs to apply the whitelisted sub-IDs to your campaign.

Whitelisting sub-IDs to all Pops campaigns

Follow these steps to add Global Whitelisted Sub-IDs, which restrict all of your Pops campaigns' traffic to the sub-IDs you whitelist:

  1. Log into your RTX Platform account.

  2. Click Pops at the top of the page to navigate to the Pops Overview page.

  3. Click the Audience Filters tab below the main navigation bar at the top of any Pops page, then click Global Whitelisted Sub-IDs.

  4. Enter each sub-ID you'd like to whitelist across all of your Pops campaigns (one sub-ID per line).

  5. When you're finished, click the Add Global Whitelisted Sub-IDs button to apply the whitelisted sub-IDs to all of your Pops campaigns.
