See how much you're earning from your Pops and Push campaigns by tracking valuable revenue data via a static or dynamic conversion amount.

NOTE: To track revenue in RTX Platform, your campaign must have a pixel event assigned, and the pixel code must be installed in your offer. Learn more about assigning and installing pixels.

Tracking revenue from your campaigns in RTX Platform reporting is simple. After assigning a pixel event to your campaign, you'll need to specify how much you earn when the assigned pixel event occurs. You can either define this amount in your Campaign Settings or in the pixel code you place with your offer.

Once your pixel code is installed in your offer, metrics such as conversions, profit, and CPA will begin tracking in your RTX Platform data.

Defining a static conversion amount in your Campaign Settings

The Conversion Amount field will appear in your Campaign Settings after you've selected a pixel event to assign to your campaign. When a user completes the assigned conversion event, the amount you've entered into this field will be tracked as the amount you earned from the conversion event.

If your conversion amount varies, you should leave this field blank and pass the conversion amount through your pixel instead, as explained in the section below this. You can also enter a rough average for your conversion amount if you don't have a way to track dynamic conversion amounts through your pixel.

NOTE: If you don't want to track conversion amount, or are unsure of the amount you earn per conversion, you should leave the Conversion Amount field blank.

Defining a conversion amount in your pixel code

You can edit your pixel code to pass either a static or dynamic conversion amount. This conversion amount will override any value you've entered as the Default Conversion Amount in your Campaign Settings.

Your conversion amount is passed through the "r" parameter in your pixel. To track a static conversion amount via the "r" parameter, add the conversion amount to your pixel code after the "&r=". For example, if you earn $2.50 per conversion, your pixel code would contain "&r=2.50".

If your conversion amount varies, ask your affiliate network if they can provide a macro that populates the dynamic conversion value within your pixel. This macro would be passed through the "r" parameter the same way as described in the paragraph above. For example, if your affiliate network provides you with the macro {conv-amount} to populate the dynamic conversion amount, your pixel code would include &r={conv-amount}.

Installing your pixel

Once you've either defined the Conversion Amount in your Campaign Settings or via the "r" parameter in your pixel code, you need to install your pixel. That way, when a conversion event happens, the pixel will fire to tell RTX Platform how much you've earned. Learn more about installing pixels.
