Click Caps not only increase engagement by preventing banner burnout, but also keep you from paying for clicks from users who are unlikely to convert.
How do Click Caps work?
Click Caps limit the number of times a user can click your Push ad in a custom time period. Once the user hits your cap, they won't see your ad again until the period lapses. For example, if you cap users at 1 click per 24 hours, any user who clicks your ad will not see it again for 24 hours.
TIP: Use Report Builder to see how often users click your ad before converting, then apply those insights to your Click Caps.
When should I use Click Caps?
There are plenty of reasons to use Click Caps! If a user clicks your ad a certain number of times, you may want to temporarily stop showing them your ad so that it's fresh the next time they see it. Or you may want to maximize exposure to unique users instead of showing your ad to users who have recently clicked it.
Customizing Click Caps
Click Caps can be customized at the campaign and ad group levels. When you create a new Push campaign or ad group, you can enter the maximum number of clicks per user and the time frame to apply to the cap. You can also apply Click Caps to existing campaigns and ad groups in your campaign or ad group's settings.
